What a great way for a Math Centre in Kindergarten and beginning of grade one! Paint a file folder ocean blue, and then on the outside place an envelope with eyes and get your students to place the correct number of eyes (with the help of velcro) on to the octopus' arms!
Learning on the go- for the car trip- write letters, shapes, or words on a paper plate edge and cut between each one. As they find the letters etc on signs or around town they get to fold it down.
