Dhaulagiri Region At 8167m, Dhaulagiri is the 7th highest mountain in the world and the 6th highest in Nepal. While most travelers are drawn to the Everest and Annapurna regions, there is much to recommend the Dhaulagiri area. There is the magical Dolpo region to the west and the amazingly deep gorges to the east. Within the area are 7 summits over 7200m, several smaller, non-technical peaks and 2 worthy passes to cross.
