Union Oyster House, built ca.1704 it opened as a restaurant in 1826 making it one of if not the oldest restaurant in the USA. In 1796 Louis Phillip, who was King of France 1830-1848 lived here in exile on the 2nd floor...even more impressive..my grandfather was a chef who worked here.
