Edible Christmas tree centerpiece using styrofoam cone, toothpicks, various fruits, cookie cutters.
Edible tree:: Material: 1 styrofoam cone (small or medium size) from your local craft store. Toothpicks; Cookie cutters with various shapes ( gingerbread-man shaped and a star shaped cutter, etc.) Assorted fruits - green and black grapes, strawberries, kiwis, dried cranberries and a honeydew melon. Cilantro garnish.
Star Cookie Christmas Tree l shortbread (or any) cookies (poke a hole with wooden skewer in center before baking. When cool, pipe sugar frosting in a design of your choice(confectioner's sugar, a bit of milk and a drop of vanilla or lemon). Spear the "branches onto the wooden skewer (use a bit of frosting to "glue" tham into place and top with a decoration of your choice. Place lying down on the side till the frosting "glue" dries. Enjoy!
