Invented by Italian M. Goventosa de Udine. This one wheeled motorcycle, with a Garelli 350 engine, was built in the second half of the 1920's. One wheeled motorcycles were built from the 1860's to the early 1900's. Some had gyroscopes for stability. I don't see on on this bike. Maximum speed: 150 kilometers per hour (93 mph). That's suicide!

I am back on the road. Riding two wheels again, feeling the wind pushing me back as if to restrain me from the joy coursing through me to no avail I move forth. I am truly at peace again on two wheels as I am meat to be. The street calls me and I am compelled to answer the call. So I ride

BMW R50. Don't know how I forgot this bike. Probably miserable to ride by current standards, but it's art.
