Day 108 - Hardy cacti and other succulent plants are accustomed to desert conditions and prefer bright, indirect light or direct sun. Water them thoroughly and evenly, allowing them to dry out completely in between waterings. If the soil becomes too hard and causes water to run off, place the pot in water just to cover the soil, and allow it to soak for about 30 minutes.

Decorative Cactus Garden. Easy to care for and so cute

it might be time for me to gather all my separate cacti and repot them together.

1: Add some rocks to the bottom of the vase. This will help with drainage when you water them. 2: Add soil. I filled mine to about an inch from the top, but it wasn't densely packed so there was still plenty of room for plants. 3: Plant a group of small plants in the soil. Be sure to space out any colorful cacti. 4: Cover the top of the soil with a thin layer of rocks. It's just for looks! So cute... done!

I want to grow plants meant for my climate - way more eco-friendly than trying to make pansies thrive in the desert! Cool Ideas!
