I checked personally and when pressing into the gluteus minimus on the side of the hip their pain was elicited. All of them found that it activated when sitting for long periods.

My dad takes 4,000 units of D3 a day. He takes 2,000 Units in the morning and 2,000 Units at lunch or dinner. It truly has changed his life. Look up Dr. Mercola and vitamin D3 on google. Dr. Mercola has great articles and it's help for a multitude of health problems from fatigue and depression to cancer prevention. Amazing what this little vitamin can do - Hope it helps you or someone you know. :)

The doctors told my dad many years back, that most people are deficient in Vitamin D3 as we spend most or our time indoors - but my dad decided to not follow the doctors advice till he read it in the MayoClinic News Letter and how it could help with Sciatica - All adults need to be in the "Optimal Range" of Vitamin D3 when they check your blood work - not just in the Normal Range - I spent many years being deficient in D3 myself or just in the low normal range. I follow Dr. Mercola's protocol and take 8,000 Units a day and after 6 years of being deficient I am finally in the optimal range and feel better than I've felt in years - Amazing.
