Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Brush both side of potato slices with butter; place them on an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake in the oven for 30 to 40 minutes or until lightly browned on both sides, turning once. When potatoes are ready, top with bacon and cheese and continue baking until the cheese has melted. Eggy Cups! cut circle out of slice of bread, using cookie cutter or drinking glass; wrap piece of bacon around outside of bread, place in greased muffin tin. sprinkle grated cheese on bread, top with one egg. bake in oven till egg is the way you want it and bacon is crisp.
Crack Bread I made this a little bit differently. I put white cheese in the slits and melted butter with homemade minced garlic, 1/2 C butter, salt, pepper and bacon pieces. Cooked on 350 for 15 minutes wrapped in foil and then 10 minutes unwrapped. It was to die for. KAREN
