    We start with 10 Apples on Top, then I do a new one each month and turn into a class book. October - 10 Ghosts, Monsters, Witches, Pieces of Candy November - 10 leaves, turkeys December - 10 gingerbread men, presents, ornaments, candy canes, Etc.

    For this project, the children can use one to one correspondence to match the number of figures with the number noted on the paper. Having the dots color coded to match the figures in also very helpful and teaches colors.
