There’s nothing more expressive than music and fashionand when the two collide, inspiration and excitement thrive.  If you’re lucky enough to attend this weekend’s Bonnaroo Music Festival in Manchester, Tennessee, swing by Gaps late-night “Be Bright At Night” event to get crafty and personalize tees. Grab bold paints, patterns, stencils and more to discover why T-I-Y is the new D-I-Y! Whether you’re attending a music fest or rockin’ out to your own playlist at home, get into the Summer DIY spirit by grabbing a Gap Favorite Tee and create an Aztec print inspired look. Cut up kitchen sponges in various sized triangles, dip into fabric paint and stamp your heart out. P.S.- plan out your pattern before you start on a piece of paper or fabric scrap.  Let dry completely, and then you’re ready to live by the words of The Beach Boys”T-Shirts, cut-offs and a pair of thongs - we’ve been having fun all Summer long”.

The glam rock movement emerged in the 60s with artists like Gary Glitter and David Bowie’s Ziggy Stardust defining an era, and inciting designers and fashionistas to make bold statements with exaggerated make up, androgynously edgy styles and gems, stones and jewels stacked for miles. Nobody blings it on better than the indisputa

Without “ART” the EARTH would just be “EH”.  Artists who inspire create so much desire, and that’s just what Piet Mondrian’s contemporary color block creations have done.  His renowned primary colored pieces have served as inspiration for YSL’s iconic Day Dress to this current season’s Céline clutches.  This DIY is in the bag when you combine classic colors on a cute clutch!

i always do this! i have a lot of t-shirts i made myself! Quotes and Pics! But my tip is: if you use a thicker kind of paper, like couche paper, the paint won´t spread and you can make another coat of paint and it won´t rip!

I freaking love this idea. I am making a vanity for the new apartment and this neat little holder is so awesome.
