Lemons can remove tough food stains from plastics and wood cutting boards. Tried it and it works. Add table salt and it really gets the tough stains.

    the ratios are off, alice. it works when you have roughly the same amounts of baking soda and hydrogen peroxide, and then only like a squirt of dawn. scrub it on and then wash in laundry like normal. works for everything except paint stains.

Ways to remove mattress stains using household products like laundry detergent, vinegar, baking soda, peroxide (depending on the stain). I think I may have to wait until spring to do this, but I'm anxious now!

stain removers...I cant wait to try some of the others. The shower cleaner is miraculous for removing soap scum without harsh chemicals, which incidentally dont work as well anyway!

Hopefully will never have to do this but just in case...Pet urine on mattress. 8 ounces/237 ml hydrogen peroxide 3% 3 tablespoons/14.29 grams of baking soda 1 drop of liquid hand dish washing soap Mix all ingredients into the spray bottle and use within 20 minutes use it immediately. Stains should disappear in 5-10 min. Once matress dries wipe or vacuum off.
