    • 2/3 cup Basil, fresh
    • 3 cloves Garlic


    • 2 tbsp Lemon juice

    • 8 oz Bow tie and/or wagon wheel pasta, dried

    Baking & Spices

    • 1/4 tsp Black pepper, ground
    • 1/8 tsp Salt

    Oils & Vinegars

    • 1 tbsp Olive oil


    • 1/2 cup Pecorino romano cheese

      AVOCADO BASIL PASTA SALAD. Cook the pasta then toss everything together for this fast dinner recipe. INGREDIENTS: 8 oz bow tie pasta; 2  med. avocados (halved/seeded/peeled, and coarsely chopped); 6  slices bacon, cooked and crumbled; 2/3 c. chopped basil; 2 T. lemon juice; 1 T. olive oil; 3 gloves garlic, minced; 1/3 tsp. pepper; 1/8 tsp. salt; 1/2 c. finely shredded Pecorino Romano cheese

      Avocado Basil Pasta 8 oz bowtie pasta 2 avocados 6 slices bacon 2/3 c chopped fresh basil 2 Tbsp lemon juice 1Tbsp olive oil 3 cloves garlic, minced 1/4 tsp pepper 1/8 tsp salt 1/2 c Romano cheese Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain. Meanwhile, in a large bowl combine the avocados, bacon, basil, lemon juice, olive oil, garlic, pepper, and salt. Add the hot pasta and toss to combine. Transfer to a serving bowl. Sprinkle with cheese.

    This is our favorite way to eat broccoli of all time! My husband says he would rather eat this than fries. I put a few Tbsp of olive oil in a ziploc with some salt and pepper and the broccoli and shake. Then spread on a cookie sheet and spread minced garlic over it and roast at 425 deg F for 20-25 minutes.
