Cute idea, making "picture frame" style shelves for your fence and putting potted plants in them

  • Creations from Ash

I love this... I want to do this on my fence... With my herbs? Inside the frames and on top? So adorable. Question is: would it pass strata rules... Maybe if I did frames along the entire fence?... Which would be pretty awesome too... Ferns are Great in Hanging Baskets - Choose a Boston fern for shady spots, a Kimberly Fern for sun. Keep soil moist not wet. Mist in late afternoon so the sun doesn't burn their leaves. If they begin to yellow, help them get their green back by watering with a mixture of 2 tablespoons of Epsom Salt to one gallon of water (tepid-warm). Use this water mixture every other week.

Keep the fern in the same pots they come in, every other day submerge them in a 5 gallon bucket filled with 1/2 cup of epson salts 3 gallons of regular water until the soil stops bubbling, then hang up to drip dry... ferns will be dark green, glossy, and 3x3 by September from ferns that start out with 7 fronds in May.
