I super love this idea of self watering containers... I think I can hide the ugly containers in a built box or something... OR surround them with nice burlap sacks with twine ties.... Cheap!

Start seedlings in an egg shell and, when ready, plant the entire thing. The egg shells will naturally compost providing valuable nutrients to your plants.
