My sister & I couldn't wait to get the Sears Christmas Wish Book every year...We would lay on our bellies on the living room floor, sifting thru its pages, & playing the "circle what you want" game. My sister's Christmas list was ALWAYS a mile long! Not me. I only asked for the same 2 things EVERY YEAR - a real monkey & a drumset. But, I never got either. :-(

We had these EVERY Christmas at my Grandma and Grandpas. The peanut shaped/flavored were my favorite.

Mom said the Christmas tree wasn't done without at least 2 packages of these (and they had to hang straight down). Would re-use them year after year.

Sears Catalog...my dad kept these. Us girls would go through it page by page, circling everything we wanted for Christmas.

1962 Little Golden Book....how I thought it'd be in the year 2000!

The day the annual Sears Christmas catalog arrived in the mail was a jubilant day! Kids poured over that thing! <> (retro, vintage, yesteryear, Xmas)

Sears Catalog Christmas 1966 - cover by Zaz Databaz (I was in first grade.)

Bubble Christmas Lights ♥ My parents had these on their Christmas tree every year. I would love to find some for ours, I know our kids love them too :)

I loved the Ramona books when I was little. This was the cover of the book I bought from the Scholastic Book Club when I was in the 3rd grade. (Still have it too!) The new ones don't hold a candle to it.

Ok I'm thinking you are wondering why this is on my "things that scare me" board but can you think of anything more creepy than a cookie man running down the road... KK

Read this book in junior high like this: O_O. My parents would have shit if they knew what it was about. Hahaha.
