Famous Art Pieces from the Renaissance Period. Van Gogh.

This artwork by Vincent Van Gogh represents unity because of the brush strokes and colors. Van Gogh used the dominance of cool colors to help unify the art piece as well. This whole painting is a great example of unity. All the important elements help make the art piece come together.

Van GoghVincent van Gogh was born on March 30, 1853, in Groot-Zundert, Netherlands. He was a post-impressionist painter whose work, notable for its beauty, emotion and color, highly influenced 20th-century art. He struggled with mental illness, and remained poor and virtually unknown throughout his lifetime. He died at age 37, from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. His work was then known to only a handful of people and appreciated by fewer still.
