People also use goat's milk to make butter, cheese and soap. Butter is made from goat's milk without any special equipment. You will need five gallons of goat's milk for half a pound of butter. If you plan to use raw goat's milk for your butter, make sure the goats are healthy and well-fed. Always clean your utensils thoroughly, as smells and flavours are transferred to the butter.
