    birdseed cakes

    • Tee Hanrose

birdseed feeders cakes, no sugar or corn syrup. to 3 cups of mixed seed, add soln. of one gelatin packet (1 oz), and <1 cup water. That will get everything damp, with some fluid left to drain or dry in the mix. set up in flexible molds with wire to hang embedded. My experience suggests the cornsyrup method works better. Different climates, different results.

Birdseed cakes. Can't wait to do this with my daughter! I don't have any cake molds, but I imagine a cookie cutter with aluminum foil wrapped tightly around the bottom would suffice. MLA
