Pantry behind barn doors. Great for a narrow kitchen with little storage. (And theres's no space for things to get shoved far in the back - LOVE IT!) Ideas, The Doors, Pantry Doors, Sliding Barn Doors, Barns Doors, House, Kitchens Pantries, Pantries Doors, Sliding Doors

Signature Touch - interesting doors! My laundry room is actually a closet with bi-fold doors (yuck!), it would be so cool to install an old barn door on a track or a couple of panels like this. Unfortunatly, I don't think there is enough wall space on either side to make it work :( Maybe it would be better for our closets in the master bedroom!
First off, I absolutely LOVE the YELLOW pantry door, considering it is my FAVORITE color! Secondly, I love the idea of a pocket door. It is saves space because it slides from side-to-side without compromising the space it would take to open a regular door. I would like a YELLOW pocket door for my future pantry, please! : )
ON TRACK “This door was a fabulous Angie Tyner [A. Tyner Antiques] find that is very old. It's in its original state—not even the iron on it has been touched up. But it weighs a ton! So we built a track above it that allows it to easily slide back and forth like a barn door.”
Brilliant!! This space is created by opening the space between the studs in the wall. Small, skinny spot, but look at all of the fabulous storage with small pantry items that take forever to find - a great idea to steal space and have a big impact. Love the medicine cabinet idea. There are TONS of ideas on this.
Love, love, love the idea of walls you can write on directly. Maybe because it's handy or maybe it's just my inner four year old that got yelled at for writing on the walls saying "yes!!!!!" to the idea. Either way, I love this idea. The door is from an old New Orleans bank.
