Water for Elephants

Water for Elephants Some scenes I could have skipped. Writers read what sells.

Eclipse. Reread for probably the 20th time, but was just in the mood for it. Finished June 8, 2012.

Eclipse by Stephanie Meyer. So it was entertaining in my personal opinion. Sue me.

Middlesex by Jeffrey Eugenides: It blurs gender lines. It's about family secrets. I felt an emotional connection with the main character. I believe it had me in tears. I couldn't put it down. I constantly just wanted to keep reading more and more.

Your Guide to Middlesex

Middlesex, by Jeffrey Eugenides. Insight to the middle ground between male and female.

There was one point in this book that I was frantically turning pages, dying to know the outcome! One of the most heart wrenching and suspenseful novels I have ever read. Emma is an amazing writer.

"Room" by Emma Donoghue- an incredible story of survival and personal reality from the point of view of a 5 year old. A true page turner.

Terrific, terrifying story. Despite the topic, such an innocent perspective. Uplifting ending...you'll want to talk about it when you're done...

Should I read this before or after I see the movie?

Something Borrowed. Something Blue. Love the One Your With etc. ANYTHING by Emily Giffin is worth reading.

Better than the movie!

Never judge a book by its movie. Something Borrowed is a fantastic book, and the movie completely altered the story line. And right after you read this, go pick up Something Blue and every other book by Emily Giffin.

The book is 10xs better than the movie (aren't they always?) I read it when it first came out... love the book!

PS, I Love You- WAY WAY better than the movie and I promise, you will cry

The Help - Kathryn Stockett - I loved this book! And the movie wasn't bad, either!

Reena Hale is an arson investigator who steps into an inferno of madness when a man begins to haunt her life with a string of horrifying crimes.

This book is INCREDIBLE. The movie sucks. I do not like Leann as the lead character. The book is times better than the movie.
