In the top frame the Salt Lake Bees play the Albuquerque Isotopes in a AAA baseball matchup, Tuesday May 20, 2014 at Smith's Ballpark in Salt Lake City. Below is an undated photo from Community Park, which was on the same piece of ground as the modern day ballpark. Community Park burned down in 1947 and was rebuilt as Derk's Field.

Derks Field 1300 South and West Temple.No matter what they call the new stadium, it will still be Derks Field to me. I worked there for 3 summers on the grounds crew...best job of my life and I wasn't even a baseball fan..

The historic Garage on Beck has had three fires since 1940, the latest on June 9. But the bar has rebuilt and plans to open a larger patio.
