DIY summer fun for toddlers & kids: "Workin' at the Car Wash" (seen in Parenting Magazine) - Hang strips of solid-color vinyl tablecloths and colorful sponges from the top of inexpensive PVC piping (at Home Depot). Have the kids line up on scooters, trikes, and in wagons. Direct sprinklers to squirt riders as they roll by. I wanna ride through this!
Have a fun ward activity or youth night by playing the Mormon Family Feud. Here are the answers to the Mormon Family Feud Questionnaire so you can put together your own game for a spirited and fun Mormon activity night.
This is a great idea!!! Do everything without whining, complaining or arguing. Every one has their own jar. Start off the week with a set amount of quarters in each jar. If they are caught whining or complaining, they lose a quarter. At the end of the week, they get the money that remains. Better than allowance!!!
Someone else said: I think this is one of the best toddler activity idea websites I've ever found. The ideas are simple, educational and allow for creative exploration of the child's own world. Highly recommend.
Leave Your Mark at the Shore: "Before a trip to the beach, my kids and I hot-glued double layers of foam letters, numbers, and shapes to the bottom of their flip-flops so that theyd leave fun prints when they walked in the sand. Just remember that the prints will be a mirror image, so arrange the letters backward." --FamilyFun reader Michelle Greene from Godley, TX
