Joan Jonas, Mirror Piece, 1969. what I do when my dash is slow and reblog myself yay by ronisilver

Idea for me, Mirror sized to fit "just" below standing torso and "just" above chest, and get shot to line up with photog's clothed body. Not sure who I would get to shoot this or how to get my wife to let me shoot it?

Explain your Story

I like this image because an illusion is created through digital manipulation. This image could possibly have a sad narrative behind it due to the models facial expression and the bleak color of the image.

I really like this photo as it is not just disguising the person themselve but it is also disguising emotion that the girl is feeling!

i love this image! i think for me to recreate this i could project onto a surface and reflect it in different shaped mirrors. I'm not sure it would quite have the same effect but this would look amazing. spoon by Manfred on Fotoblur | Abstract Photography
