Gallons, Quarts, Pints, Cups -- illustrated
I wish someone would have taught me this a long time ago so I would remember gallons, quarts, pints, and cups!
Capacity - G=Gallon, Q=quart, P=pint, C=cup So 2 cups in a pint, 2 pints in a quart, 4 quarts in a gallon, 4 cups in a quart etc.
Cups, pints, quarts, half gallons, gallon
How Many Cups In A Pint? A Quart? A Gallon? good visual for math notebooks.
I could never remember my gallon facts, so here's the Gallon House! The G is the house, the 4 Q's (quarts) are the windows, the 8 P's (pints) are the people, and the 16 C's (cups) are the eyes!
This is genius! There are 4 quarts (Q) in a gallon (G). There are 2 pints (P) in a quart (Q). There are 2 cups (C) in a pint (P). By using this trick you can picture how many cups are in a gallon (16) and how many pints in 3 quarts (6).
perfect for teaching gallons, quarts, pints, cups.
Great Idea for Measurement
