After my daughter died, it was hard to pray. My days consisted of sleeping and walking around in a daze. I grew used to feeling depressed. 6 years later, a series of answered prayers. I’ve moved into a cottage surrounded by flowers and sunlit windows. I’m speaking in public about grief, grace, and healing. I’ve made a host of new friends. I still don’t know if suffering is God’s plan. But I’m certain that God wants each of us to feel joy. It’s up to us to accept the gift.

Angels come to help and guide us in as many guises as there are people who need their assistance. Sometimes we see their ethereal, heavenly shadow, bright with light and radiance. Sometimes we only feel their nearness or hear their whisper. And sometimes they look no different from ourselves. - Eileen Elias Freeman www.lovehealsus.net
