A Good Deed brightens a dark world ~ by Jon Contino - a designer, illustrator and a self described ‘Alphastructuaesthetitologist’. I really love his hand lettering style that combines nostalgia, vintage signs & ideas with his own special 'modern' twists -- http://blog.joncontino.com. if you want to purchase this poster, Jon has it available at http://helpink.org/product/good-deeds where 40% of sale will go the SMILE TRAIN (devoted to paying for cleft surgery for children who can't afford it)

I saw this picture and thought the quote on it was really interesting. "A good deed brightens a dark world." I felt like that does relaly symbolize what the play Everyman is about. At the end you're really only left with your good deeds. It also says that the more good deeds you do the more joy you will bring to people. Sort like a light lifts the darkness.
