In Norse mythology, Huginn (from Old Norse "thought") and Muninn (Old Norse "memory" or "mind") are a pair of ravens that fly all over the world, Midgard, and bring information to the god Odin.

Peter Howson's "Patriots" (1991): have seen this piece hanging in Glasgow's Gallery of Modern Art and can only really be appreciated when you see its size and its sumptuous glazes.

I think this was an illustration in a book I had as a kid - Hans Brinker and His Silver Skates I think it was called
