What a great show with awesome cartoons! I remember the opening song while they were at Six Flags.

The Banana Splits -- I remember these wacky characters' Saturday morning variety show. Believe it or not a variety show for kids. I remember collecting these plastic hand puppets in boxes of Muffets cereal!!

The Banana Splits!!!!!!

Banana Splits I still have the puzzle. Also had the elephant puppet

the banana splits - OMG, we use to watch these guys every Saturday night when I was little... very happy flash back...

The Banana Splits. I was raised on this. How did I not turn out even more warped than I am? However, I realize now I might have developed my love of soul music from this show. And I thought the Sour Grapes Bunch was hot.

LOVED this shampoo...so did my hair stylist. She (and other girls in the shop) couldn't believe this was the shampoo (with matching conditioner) I used. It kept my fine, flyaway hair from being frizzy without weighing it down...and it made your hair really SHINE! Salon gals couldn't believe it because this shampoo was considered "cheap."

Return to the 70s. This is what we had. Our kids have tiny iPods instead. Never could have imagined that!

Phone Booth - Would call the phone @ The Pantry just to see who would answer...LOL

THE BANANA SPLITS - Like most 60s/70s bubblegum artists, the Banana Splits starred in a Saturday morning children's TV show.

The upside down 7-up glass. So cool back then.
