      Get candle wax out of old candle holders and reuse their pretty jars: Pour in boiling water and allow to sit over night. The water will melt the wax, which will then float to the top. Remove wax, pour out the remaining, now cooled water. (It's important the water has had time to cool. If it's still warm, traces of wax will still be in the water and upon touching your sink drain will harden and clog your pipes with wax... Not good!)
