Great tutorial by YHL on how to recover lamp shades (is it just me, or do they make everything look so easy?!). I'm thinking of those lamp bases I picked up at the thrift store ages ago. Inspired by YHL's 'Dude, get on that' challenge.

ribbon diy shade. when I do this, I think I'll put ribbon around the rim top & bottom, wrapped over if thinner looks better. could even do with a contrasting color, like brown horizontal trim above & below with this green.
