‎"Their bodies are their own; they’re not ours to use. Their babies are their own; they’re not ours to take. Their lives are their own; they’re not ours to end. When we truly grasp that animals do not exist for our pleasure, there will be hope for them and for us. May we manifest in our behavior the compassion we hold in our hearts and thus create the peaceful world we all envision." Colleen Patrick-Goudreau

I think you are are being way harsh, Anne. Lori was simply observing a sad, but true, phenomena in society. You mischaracterized her comment and focused on "feelings". She asked, "Where are the posts for the unborn babies from the "animal lovers"? Not; Do they "feel" compassion toward babies... Do they DO something about it like they do for animals? The evidence (or lack thereof) proves her point. Also, mischaracterizing her statements as you did is called a "straw man argument".

I am not a spokesperson for anyone but myself. If you believe that humans can only feel compassion for a single group and none other then we are finished with this conversation.

follow the bouncing ball and you will understand why the post. None of any "animal lovers" that you are deeming yourself the spokesperson for ever post passionate pins for the unborn but only for animals so your theory for being for all life is vapors.

Um, I don't know what you've been reading but care and compassion for all living beings is upmost in most animal lovers' minds. I am utterly passionate for animals but it doesn't diminish my compassion for humans. Sad that you think it's one of the other.

nope but I do always see pleas for every life but human. we seem to be more concerned about taking honey from bees as a tragedy than an unborn baby...millions every year. Humans seem to be caring about EVERYthing but humans that can't defend themselves. their own kind....ironic.

I hope these two weren't homeless.

it's not true that you have to murder to live!

Only scum would look at this and see it as natural. Put wild animals back into their own habitat and let them live their lives in peace.
