The First Days of School by Harry K. Wong is a great book for rookie and veteran teachers alike. It is full of great classroom management tips and procedures. It was our required textbook during my classroom management class in college. I love how this book illustrates how important the first couple hours/days/weeks are to a successful school year. Read it before each school year to refresh your memory. It is a MUST READ for all new teachers! This book is one of the best resource materials!

The Daily Five is more than a management system or a curriculum framework; it is a structure that will help
