The instantly recognisable Cloud Gate – a giant stainless steel reflective bean, which is a great photo opportunity.
At Millennium Park, Chicago, Anish Kapoor's Cloud Gate, also known as 'The Bean,' comes to life with an interactive light show called Luminous Field by LuftWerk, the creative vision of Petra Bachmaier and Sean Gallero.
The Bean' (Cloud Gate) - sculpture of Anish Kapoor based in Chicago has recently been transformed to a giant projector of digital light and geometrical ornaments. Called 'Luminous field' a temporary installation by 'Luftwerk' projects video and sound on the surrounding area, creating a light show in Chicago`s Millennium Park.
Wish I was in Chicago to see this: "Anish Kapoor’s beloved Bean, more properly known as ‘Cloud Gate,’ will give off warped reflections of Chicago-based collective Luftwerk’s horeographed light show. When the sun sets, a total of ten projectors will be used to generate ‘Luminous Field’ and turn Chicago’s AT&T plaza into an even more vibrant, interactive public space."

Cloud Gate by Anish Kapoor (you know..."the bean" in Chicago) is one of the U.S.'s most recognizable and beloved public art installations. Currently, Chicago-based design firm LuftWerk "have capitalized on the sculpture’s reflective properties by turning it into a canvas for a choreographed light show titled Luminous Field."
Cloud Gate - one of my favorite places I've been.
