    Want f a s t wavy hair?? try a braid & a flat iron. Such a good idea

Quick waves from braids! Great website for hair ideas for little girls!

*Update* This method doesn't work well. The waves come out awkward and you have to fry your hair doing it. Get really quick waves from braids. The thicker the braid the looser the wave.

love this beauty trick: flat iron braid for instant waves but be sure to do larger braids (5-6 total over your whole head), and braid them LOOSELY. Run over with a flat iron a few times, spritz with hairspray, then let your hair cool off (try braiding before applying your makeup or getting dressed, the longer the braids sit after ironing, the better it will hold). @ Beauty Salon Hair Styles

Quick waves from flat ironing braids. I wonder if this works, but then again, I already have crazy wavy hair....

Fishtail braid ! Really easy to do if u know how to do the braid. If u braid with wet hair, the braid will stay in better and will be tighter.

Pretty Quick Style. Not sure if my thick hair can be curled in 4 sections, but worth a shot

Great site for hairstyles.. This one looks awesome and I could modify it for gym. Maybe some coordinating ribbon to go along with it.

Testimonial... From someone else: I pinned this with the thought of "Wow, another great pinterest hairstyle that I'll never be able to do." But let me just tell you IT WORKS! If you know how to fishtail braid, this is the easiest and most impressive updo I've ever done!! Got compliments on it all night long and it only took me about 10 minutes to do. HIGHLY recommend it!!!

Quick Waves from Braids from BabesInHairland.com - use thicker braids for bigger waves - smaller braids for a more "crimped" look #waves #braids #hairstyles

Works best on slightly wavy to curly hair. Not as effective if you have pin straight hair (unless u get a wave perm like me!) Try this… I used to do this when I had straight hair: Twists as I’ve shown, then put roll into buns and clip with a claw. Once hair is dried… Soft curls!

I tried this last night when the kids were in bed, just to see if it's that easy and it is. I did 8 sections instead of 4 and I got a ton of volume with my short hair. Also, I did a side part because I don't like a middle part on me. I did not realize the trick to curling was doing it all in the same direction and a flattering direction at that.
