The extraordinary #1 New York Times bestseller that is now a major motion picture, Markus Zusak's unforgettable story is about the ability of books to feed the soul. It is 1939. Nazi Germany. The country is holding its breath. Death has never been busier, and will become busier still. Liesel Meminger is a foster girl living outside of Munich, who scratches out a meager existence for herself by stealing when she encounters something she can’t resist–books.
One of the best books I have read this year.

The Shack By: WM. Paul Young Completed: July 11, 2009 250 pages (Provided a very touching and interesting view on God; “Three in One”. After hearing how AMAZING this book was, I was a bit disappointed, but on the other hand the story was a good one.)
The Shack is an amazing book that gives a whole new insight on what a relationship with God can really be like! I LOVED IT!
The Shack by Wm. Paul Young (2007) - An interesting take on god's relationship with one man. It's a unique idea combined with good writing and characters. I found it lovely and would read it again.
The Shack by Wm. Paul Young. this treasure of a book is about living in a broken world filled with tragedy and finding the hope and peace that only our amazing God can give.
The Shack by William P Young -Originally self-published as a fictional faith memoir of sorts for his children, this book has made it to the bestseller's lists. Mr. Young makes you look at your brokenness and God's goodness from a new angle...one of my favorite books.
Paul Young's "The Shack" gives you a different overview from God. it takes away many preconceptions of God and makes you understand he's warm, forgiving, compassionate and loving above all.
The Shack... THIS IS ONE OF MY FAVORITE BOOKS EVER. LOVE THIS STORY ON HOW GOD RESTORES.
Amazing book & this quote says it best: "The Shack is a one of a kind invitation to journey to the very heart of God. Through my tears and cheers, I have been indeed transformed by the tender mercy with which William Paul Young opened the veil that too often separated me from God and from myself. With every page, the complicated do’s and don’t that distort a relationship into a religion were washed away as I understood Father, Son, and Holy Ghost for the first time in my life." #JaneAusten #Bath
One of my all time favorite books. I like all of Jane Austen's books, but this one is such a sweet story.
My favorite Jane Austen. I never take books from home to school with me, because I know I'll be too busy to read anything but textbooks. However, I always include two books in my packing: Pride & Prejudice and Persuasion. The perfect reading for a stressful day.
Persuasion by Jane Austen - my favorite Austen novel. Anne Elliot is a much smarter Austen heroine than most.
(all of Jane Austen is "worth" reading this one just happens to be my favorite.) -- It has been 8 years since Anne Eliot was persaded by her friend, Lady Russel, to refuse the hand of her sweetheart, the penniless Captain Wentworth. Now alone Anne resigns herself to living quietly surrounded by her nonsensical family until Captain Wentworth returns having made his fortune at sea. Anne sure to meet him again must ask herself if she made the right decision, and if it is too late to alter it.
Persuasion tied for first place w/Pride and Prejudice as my favorite Jane Austen book

**DONE** War Brides by Helen Bryan. Half-way through this one and enjoying it so far. :)
War Brides by Helen Bryan - just read the last page, and enjoyed this historical novel very much. Not a perfect read, but a satisfying one that took me to a village in Great Britain where five very different women come together to form unique bonds of friendship that could only grow out of the experiences of such a war as the one that rocked in the world more than sixty years ago. While the implausible ending might please some readers, I felt it was hurried and a bit frustrating.
