The engine house Wheal Coates North Cornwall, UK. Old Cornish tin mine. Many of the mines used to tunnel out under the seabed putting the miners in very dangerous conditions.

Cornwall is still famous for its traditional Cornish Pasties, which the tin miners used to take down the mines for meals. A traditional Cornish pastie has meat, potatoes, vegetables etc at one end, and the other end of the pastie often had a fruit filling, so the miners would have a meal, and a dessert in one packagae!
