This is the same recipe that my great grandmother's quilting bee requested from See's candy. They sent it with a whopping bill for $500 (a fortune at the time). All the ladies got together raising funds to pay the bill and passed it down for generations (we are starting our 6th generation of fudge making from this recipe). I have never seen the same recipe until today.
See’s Copycat Fudge (7 ingredients: semi-sweet chocolate chips, marshmallow cream (or marshmallows), butter, vanilla extract, pecans or walnuts, sugar, evaporated milk)
SIMPLE FUDGE: 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips; 1 cup milk chocolate chips; 1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk; 1/4 tsp vanilla sea salt (fleur de sel); 1 cup chopped nuts (optional; see cook's notes); 1 1/2 tsp pure vanilla extract. (Another pinner says to use evaporated milk if you don't want it too sweet.)
