Outdoor scavenger hunt....could do many different kinds of scavenger hunts:reading, indoors, just Pinterest search it

Abstract Carvings: After viewing the art of Henry Moore, students discovered why artists abstract and how abstraction can enhance a work of art.  To further demonstrate this, students mixed wet plaster and poured it into a trash bag.  After holding it in their hands for several minutes, the shape their hands made was the beginning composition for the sculpture.  Students then used techniques in direct carving using rasps and files to create movement and negative space.
