      How to Make Shades for a Sky Light - Great ideas & more! After reading several of these, I bought a temporary pleated paper shades & 2 spring curtain rods. After cutting to size, I used a 1/2 inch circle craft punch to make holes in each pleat on both sides. Inserted a spring rod thru the holes & hung. What a difference! It cost about ten dollars.
