Jeanne and Paul Moseley's Montana cabin. In the kids' room, wool trading blankets adorn beds from Bear Mountain Mercantile. Jeanne bought the tramp-art table at a Seattle antiques market; the burled-wood lamp is also vintage. Bright idea! Whitewashed frames unite, and elevate, paint-by-numbers art. What to collect: Paint By Number paintings (why not?!? although I'd stick to one sort, for example, my fave Dachshunds).
@Laurie Dyer - There's a b photo at the thrift store that I can't get out of my head. It's of a native woman and her daughter (Guatemalan?). The woman is looking away and the girl is facing the camera. It's gorgeous but it doesn't mean anything to me except that I like it. Do I bring it into my house or pass? What if I look it up and find out their story?
