This pin is from a third grade teacher who lets her students play boggle quietly when they are done with their reading work. I would use it in my classroom and use the letters that make up the vocabulary words from the story that they are currently reading. I think it's such a neat idea because it integrates reading and spelling.

Teaching With a Mountain View: {Peek of the Week} A Peek into Sunny's 4th & 5th Grade Classroom

Each time a student BLURTS out loud without raising hand they have to take one down. Last person to have all 3 gets rewarded!--I've seen this implemented in a first grade classroom with a lot of success!

Take a virtual tour of my third-grade classroom from 2004 and get ideas for setting up your own.

Outstanding tips on classroom management for middle and high school students!!! Love the ticket system (will be easy to modify from my 4th and 5th grade system), bathroom and LMA passes. Also, calling students Mr./Miss and last name.
