If any artist ever embodied all that Victoria magazine strives to be, it was Tasha Tudor. Like those of us who revel in Victioria’s richness and artistry, she celebrated the simple beauty of authenticity. On June 18, 2008, Tasha leapt ahead to her next great adventure, perhaps to a world as magical as the one she created and shared with us all. We honor her memory. Tasha Tudor died 6/18/2008 in Marlboro, Vermont. Her estate, over $2 million, was contested by the three children she disinherited... "Her will left the bulk of the estate to Seth Tudor, and his son; $1,000 each to her two daughters, and a piece of antique furniture to younger son, because of their 'estrangement' from her." -However, over her lifetime she gave her son a half share in her home in Marlboro, Vermont, $2 million in art work, with a similar lifetime disposition to her two daughters.
