Love this idea! A pillbox is a great way to incorporate reinforcement directly into a visual schedule or task analysis. Each compartment can hold a small treat or toy and the student earns it as soon as the task is complete.

SO cool. This bit of brilliance was designed for students with special needs. Each child has his or her own personal space, which can be outfitted with any SENSORY comforts that the child might need. AWESOME. Also, one or two of these in a library center would be a super-cool semi-private space for any kid. Repinned by SOS Inc. Resources @sostherapy.

Class management: Visual Schedules: A visual schedule allows an individual to see the sequence of the days events through a series of pictures. This can be used in all content areas and throughout the day. I would target elementary aged students, but it can be adapted for most ages, depending on the level of the student. I found it in on pintrest.

Visual Schedules - Children with special needs use various visual schedule throughout the day. These give students a sense of what is expected of them and there is an end. Depending on the needs of the student, the visual schedule cards may help organize the time frame. Visual schedule cards should be created to easily move around by sticking with magnets, felt, or velcro on the back. Here are a variety of uses of a visual schedule and how they can be easily incorporated into the day.
