an artists makes paper cutouts inside of toilet paper rolls

Paper cuts - Rolls by Anastassia Elias, via Behance

TOILET~PAPER ROLLS: up'd to Christmas Tree ornaments. Are these cute or what? They’re actually just cardboard toilet paper rolls, painted in bright colors and decorated with black permanent markers. One end of the roll is simply pinched to create the owl’s ‘ears’ – a fun and easy project for both kids and adults. FORGET GOING TO A BIG BOX STORE and piling a cart high with cheap, mass-produced holiday decorations made in China. Help the Earth and create lasting memories with the kids.

Very clever and I think even doable for the non-artistic person - trace images onto paper bag and then layer. You can lay out the design and then place the tube opening over and trace it and you will now how to cut the curves.

It's hard to believe that the final product was made from TP rolls!

designverb: Junior Jacquet creates some oddly familiar and intriguing faces using the the brown chipboard tube from an empty toliet roll! I’m not sure what to make of them, but making art from trash is always cool! www.designverb.co...

Toilet Paper Roll Faces Artwork - these are displayed at the face height on that thin wire... they are pretty interesting. Junior Fritz Jacquet is the artist

Im gonna use wrapping paper or paper towel rolls for this. Toilet paper rolls sound a little gross :)

Cardboard tube art. The first thing I thought about when I saw this was someone spent a lot of time on that toilet, creating this, and wondering how they were gonna get some more toilet paper. Haha!
