(If we ever get a swiffer) Refill Your Swiffer Wet Jet; No Special Tools Required- Are you kidding me! I've just been buying new ones....Dip the tip of an empty Swiffer Wetjet solution bottle into boiling water for about 10 seconds and the lid twists off (use a towel). Refill with your preferred cleaning solution at appropriate dilution! and re-cap. Genius. No need to pay for more fluid... way overpriced. genius -

Very easy. Boil some water in a pot/pan, dip lid in for half a minute and twist off with a towel. To make it easier next refill, clip off little tabs on cap.

How to refill your Swiffer Wet Jet! I can't believe I have been buying refills this whole time!!

I love DIY Cleaning Solutions! I may not always have a special cleaner on hand for a particular job but I usually have these ingredients. As a bonus I'm using mostly natural ingredients and I save money too.

Pinner says: First thing, I'm curious if the wrinkle release spray will smell like the vinegar at all or if the fabric softener in it will mask it...?? Secondly, I'm cleaning my oven racks tomorrow based on this & I'm excited to see how well it works. And finally, I'm pretty psyched (the little things) to try the armpit stain remover. Seriously ppl, everyone gets those, even a little bit.

How to make your own Swiffer Wet Jet solution refills - plus how to get off that top!

The lemon and salt is also a good rust remover on metal at least, I've never tried it on fabric. I'm going to try these!

Swifferwetjet....... Fill a bucket with 2 quarts of water. Add 2 tablespoons of Murphy’s oil soap to the water and stir to combine. Insert a funnel into an empty Swiffer Solution bottle and pour in your homemade solution. Or you can dip the Swiffer mop head directly into the solution and mop your floor as normal.
