Take a spray bottle, fill it about 1/8th full with rubbing alcohol, add a drop of Dawn dishwashing soap, a few drops of scented oil (optional, but makes it smell so good), fill the rest of the way with water, shake together, and you're good to go! It makes your granite (or any countertop) shine and feel so smooth at a fraction of the price~I have loved it and use it on my appliances as well. Got this from Melissa at granvillehouse.blogspot. DIY Daily Shower Cleaner... 24 ounces of water 1/2 cup hydrogen peroxide 1/2 cup rubbing alcohol 2 tsp dishwashing liquid (original recipe calls for Dawn. I use whatever I have on hand) 2 tsp automatic dishwasher rinse

:3-4 drops of Dawn, 4 T. of Baking Soda, 5 T. of Vinegar, Juice of a lemon or lime. (Pour in vinegar SLOWLY!) Wipe paste onto the surfaces in the oven. Let it set for a couple of hours. Wipe out with a sponge or warm cloth.

DIY corner: Wood floor cleaner 1 c water, 1 c vinegar, 1c alcohol, 2-3 drops dishwashing soap.....for shiny wood floors PLUS stainless steel appliances!
