Dutch/US design team OMA + OLIN have triumphed to win the competition to design the Street Bridge Park, Washington D.C.s first elevated park, which will soar above the citys Anacostia river and help unite the communities on its opposing banks.
Landscape architects James Corner Field Operations, architects Diller Scofidio + Renfro and planting designer Piet Oudolf have completed Section 2 of the High Line, a mile-long elevated park on an abandoned railway in New York.
