Classroom DIY: DIY Phonics Phones. I have heard that they work and that they don't work but kids love them and it is a nice way to get them to attend to their articulation. They usually don't "hear" themselves. Whisper Phones, Duct Tape, Idea, Student, Diy Phonics, Classroom Diy, Pvc Pipes, Phonics Phones, Whisperer Phones

Help support your child as the learn to read with these phonics games. Letter sound activities for kids.
In this activity students will twist the plastic Easter eggs to make different words out of onsets and rimes. Students will be able to make all real words in this activity. Therefore, the focus will be on learning new and unfamiliar words. I'm sure you can do this with rhythms some how!
Consonant blends and consonant digraphs are very useful and are important for the students to know to be able to sound out more complex words. I believe having them all over the classroom and using them as decoration around the classroom is going to help the students learn them. This helps the students with their letter association.
