Consider extending my counter top into the pantry so I can create an appliance nook similar to this? Would be pricey but might be worth it. I could cut into the bottom portion of the pantry volume to create a linen cupboard, accessed from the back side.

Like the idea of hidden appliances which are still user friendly. Would probably go for a door instead of a roller door though.
