one of my favorite childhood books

The Secret Garden, Frances Hodgson Burnett.one of my favorite childhood books

AMAZING! I have read this book at least 5 times. It hits me hard ever time. Truly extraordinary. It's an easy, quick read and I would recommend this to every one!

The Giver - Read this book when I was in high school, and was really happy to reread it a bit ago.

Anne Frank - The diary of a young girl...still a book worth reading. Then when you're able to visit the Anne Frank House in Amsterdam, you're reminded of her courage and the power of her story.

I read the book at school and visited where she hid as a young adult. Imre-read the book after, a must read for all school children, so it is never forgotten what happened, poignant, heartbreaking tragedy.

In pitch-perfect voices, Kathryn Stockett creates three extraordinary women whose determination to start a movement of their own forever changes a town, and the way women--mothers, daughters, caregivers, friends--view one another. A deeply moving novel filled with poignancy, humor, and hope, The Help is a timeless and universal story about the lines we abide by, and the ones we don't.

The Help by Kathryn Stockett was such a wonderful book. I laughed, almost cried and felt connected with the characters in the story. I can't wait to see the movie.

Anne of Green Gables -- My mother gave me this book after I had been in trouble for the 100th time that summer. She said "I think you are going to relate to Anne"...haha. Boy, did I ever!

50 Years On, 'Mockingbird' Still Sings America's Song

The BFG by Roald Dahl, possibly the best children's author ever to meet the English language.

The BFG by Roald Dahl (Farrar, Straus, Kidsnatched from her orphange by a BFG (Big Friendly Giant), who spends his life blowing happy dreams to children, Sophie concocts with him a plan to save the world from nine other man-gobbling cannybull giants.

One of the last books I read... Awesome!! You get to experience the life of women in the Middle East. Very eye opening

"A Thousand Splendid Suns" Khaled Hosseini. His novel "The Kite Runner" is more popular, but this is wonderful story, and in my opinion the better book.

The Help by Kathryn Stockett. This book is similar to To Kill a Mockingbird in its theme, but vastly different in plot. I loved the spunk of the characters and the way the story was told.
